Once you hit level 80, you’re going to want to gain 5000 gold so you can get a very fast flying mount and the riding skill necessary to use it. The best way to earn money is not by grinding but by doing daily quests. These quests usually reward around ten gold each, and you can do 25 of them a day. Many also give you faction reputation, allowing you to complete two tasks at once. Most also don’t take very long to do. Some can even be completed in only a few minutes. Even though they have no real use, grey items can be sold to venders for a good amount of money. Some Outland grey items sell for more than a gold piece each.

All white items have a use. Some can be turned in for other items or reputation. Others are used in professions. NB!
